Future Islands announce U.S. tour dates
Synthpop favorites Future Islands have announced they'll be hitting the road again in early 2025 promoting their new album 'People Who Aren't There Anymore'. The 16-date trek takes place in May making noteworthy stops in Charlotte, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Anaheim, Las Vegas and Orlando. The band recently wrapped up an expansive U.S. tour in 2024 which was joined by special guests Oh, Rose.
Future Islands released their seventh studio album 'People Who Aren't There Anymore' on January 26th, 2024 via 4AD. Their previous 2020 album 'As Long as You Are' includes the single 'For Sure' which reached #12 on Adult Alternative Airplay chart. The following year, the band joined Modest Mouse during portions of their MMXXI Tour while launching their own Calling Out in Space Tour which was joined by Oh, Rose, Flock Of Dimes, Serengeti and A Place To Bury Strangers. Back in 2022, they toured extensively across Canada along with support from Oh, Rose.
