Grimes announces 'The Rhinestone Cowgirls Tour'

Canadian electronic music producer Grimes has announced a run of North American tour dates this fall supporting her upcoming fourth album. 'The Rhinestone Cowgirls Tour' kicks off October 24th at Santa Ana's Beach Goth Festival and runs through most of November visiting notable U.S. cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, DC, Philadelphia, New York and Chicago. In Canada, she'll perform in her hometown of Vancouver as well as Montreal and Toronto. Joining the trek in support will be special guest Nicole Dollanganger.

Grimes' new album will follow up 'Visions' released on January 31, 2012 via Arbutus Records. The album reached #8 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and won Electronic Album of the Year at the 2013 Juno Awards. Claire Boucher was recently nominated for four MuchMusic Video Awards including Dance Video of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Post-Production and Best Director.
