GWAR announce 'Gor Gor Strikes Back' tour

Metal beasts GWAR have announced an expansive U.S. tour in early 2026 to support their recent album 'The New Dark Ages'. Their Gor Gor Strikes Back tour takes place in March/April invading cities like Columbus, St. Louis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Houston and Charlotte. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Soulfly and King Parrot. The band recently wrapped up The Return Of Gor Gor Tour celebrating their 40th anniversary along with support from Helmet, Dwarves and Blood Vulture.

GWAR released their 15th studio album 'The New Dark Ages' on June 3rd, 2022 via their own Slave Pit Inc. label. The new album follows up 2017's 'The Blood of Gods' which reached a career-best #12 on Billboard's Independent chart and features a guest appearance by MC Chris on the track 'Death to Dickie Duncan'. Back in 2024, the band launched their Age of Befuddlement Tour along with support from Cancer Bats, Fuming Mouth and X-Cops followed by their Age of Entitlement Tour which was joined by Weedeater, Brujeria, X-Cops, Cancer Christ, Squid Pisser and BRAT. The prior year, their Age Of Imbeciles Tour was joined by Negative Approach, X-Cops and Cancer Christ.
