Judas Priest announce 'Invincible Shield' tour

Heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest have announced a huge U.S. tour taking place in 2024 promoting their next album 'Invincible Shield'. The 19-city campaign kicks off April 18th in Wallingford and continues into May hitting notable cities like Newark, Rosemont, Minneapolis, Maryland Heights, Charlotte and Washington, DC. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Sabaton. Back in 2022, the band brought their 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour to North America along with support from Queensrÿche.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into the fall invading additional markets like Montreal, Sterling Heights, Milwaukee, Omaha, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Houston.

Judas Priest will be releasing their 19th studio album 'Invincible Shield' on March 8th, 2024 via Epic Records. The new album follows up 2018's 'Firepower' which reached a career-best #5 on the Billboard 200. The same year, the band was nominated for an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with 20 other acts including Radiohead, The Moody Blues and The Zombies. Also in 2018, they hit the road with Deep Purple after launching their own Firepower World Tour which was joined by Saxon and Black Star Riders.
