Moody Blues announce 'Days of Future Passed' tour

English rockers The Moody Blues will be hitting the road in 2017 celebrating the 50th anniversary of their blockbuster album 'Days of Future Passed'. The 28-date trek kicks off June 3rd in Rancho Mirage, CA and extends through July hitting cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, Nashville and Atlanta. During the tour, the band will be performing their entire 1967 album along with some of their greatest hits.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2018 visiting cities like Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, New Orleans, San Antonio and Las Vegas.

The Moody Blues released their sophomore album 'Days of Future Passed' on November 10th, 1967 via Deram Records. The breakthrough album took five years to make it to the top of the charts and is now known as one of the first examples of the progressive rock. In early 2016, the band launched their Fly Me High Tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of their debut album 'The Magnificent Moodies'. Earlier in 2015, they embarked on their Timeless Flight - The Polydor Years Tour supporting their box set 'The Polydor Years 1986-1992'.
