Kaleo announce 'Payback Tour'
Icelandic ensemble Kaleo will be making their way across North America in 2024 to promote their current album 'Surface Sounds'. Their Payback Tour kicks off June 14th in Dillon and stretches into October making notable U.S. stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Detroit, New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, Houston and Chicago. Canadian shows are planned for Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Matt Maeson, Vincent Lima, Neal Francis, Reignwolf, Chance Peña, Larkin Poe and Hembree.
Kaleo released their third studio album 'Surface Sounds' on April 23rd, 2021 via Elektra Records. The new album follows up 2016's 'A/B' which reached a career-best #16 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA. The same year, the band launched The Handprint Tour across North America along with support from Bishop Briggs and The Wind + The Wave. The following year, their Kaleo Express Tour was joined by ZZ Ward. The Grammy-nominated group formed in 2012 and consists of Jökull Júlíusson, Davíð Antonsson, Daníel Kristjánsson, Rubin Pollock and Þorleifur Gaukur Davíðsson.
