Michael Franti announces 'Welcome To The Family Tour'

Funk collective Michael Franti & Spearhead will be embarking on a new U.S. tour in early 2026 behind their current album 'Big Big Love'. The 4-city jaunt takes place in May making limited stops in El Paso, Flagstaff, Tucson and Morrison. The band recently wrapped up their Welcome To The Family Tour earlier this year which was joined by special guests Niko Moon, The Elovaters, Ripe, Allen Stone and Bombargo.

Franti and his backing band released their 13th studio album 'Big Big Love' on November 3rd, 2023 via Thirty Tigers. The new album follows up 2022's 'Follow Your Heart' and 2020's 'Work Hard & Be Nice' which reached #48 on Billboard's Rock chart. Also in 2023, the politically and socially-charged group launched their Big Big Love Tour along with support from SOJA, Lawrence, Phillip Phillips, Tank & The Bangas, Fortunate Youth and The Dip. Back in 2024, their Togetherness Tour was joined by Stephen Marley, Trevor Hall, Ripe and Bombargo.
