Morrissey announces North American tour

Seasoned lyricist Morrissey has announced a solo North American tour in early 2025 after some preliminary talks of being offered to reunite with Johnny Marr as The Smiths. The 12-date outing kicks off April 26th in Reno and stretches into May hitting other cities like San Diego, San Antonio, St. Louis, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale. The songwriter recently wrapped up a busy year in 2024 touring across North America surrounding his latest Las Vegas residency.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended through the rest of the year and into 2026 making notable U.S. stops in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, Inglewood, San Antonio, St. Louis, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale. Canadian shows are planned for Laval and Toronto.

Morrissey's next studio album 'Without Music The World Dies' was completed in 2023 but remains unreleased. His previous 2020 album 'I Am Not a Dog on a Chain' reached #3 in the UK and features a guest appearance by Thelma Houston on the track 'Bobby, Don't You Think They Know?' The prior year, the iconic singer toured extensively across America along with support from Interpol after launching his first Canadian tour in 20 years. Back in 2015, he hit the road with Blondie and Amanda Palmer.
