The Breeders announce 'Last Splash' anniversary tour

Seasoned rockers The Breeders have announced a major U.S. tour commencing later in 2023 celebrating the 30th anniversary of their classic album 'Last Splash'. The 10-date outing kicks off September 8th in Columbus and extends into October hitting additional markets like Detroit, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Horsegirl, Screaming Females and Belly.

The Breeders' 1993 album 'Last Splash' was certified Platinum by the RIAA and includes the singles 'Cannonball', 'Divine Hammer', 'Saints' and 'No Aloha'. Their latest 2018 album 'All Nerve' reached #79 on the Billboard 200 and features a guest appearance by Courtney Barnett on the track 'Howl at the Summit'. The Dayton-based band formed back in 1989 and currently consists of the original 'Last Splash' lineup of Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson.
