'Under The Sun' Tour Reveals Summer 2015 Dates & Line-Up
The third annual 'Under The Sun' Tour has announced it's summer schedule featuring Sugar Ray, Better Than Ezra, Uncle Kracker and Eve 6. The summer tour will kick off July 17th in Chandler, AZ and run through August visiting big cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Columbus, Philadelphia and Atlanta with additional cities to be announced later. Last year's version of the tour featured Blues Traveler and Smash Mouth along with Sugar Ray and Uncle Kracker.
Sugar Ray's lead vocalist Mark McGrath started the 'Under The Sun' Tour in 2013 as a follow up to 2012's successful 'Summerland' Tour. McGrath's goal has been to consistently promote a 1990s nostalgia tour with a line-up of alternative rock bands that "at least had a big hit or two" in the 90s. In 2014, he stated that there won't be any further Sugar Ray albums in the future due to legal issues with former members Murphy Karges and Stan Frazier.
