Ani DiFranco announces 'Unprecedented Sh!t' tour
Chart-topping songstress Ani DiFranco has announced a massive 2025 tour across America to support her newest album 'Unprecedented Sh!t'. The 29-date trek kicks off January 16th in Austin and extends into April hitting major markets like Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, DC and Brooklyn. Also during the year, the artist will be making an appearance at Cayamo Cruise along with Jeff Tweedy, Emmylou Harris, Nickel Creek, Grace Potter, Little Feat and Lucius.
UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended further into the year with Hurray for the Riff Raff and tUnE-yArDs visiting cities like Buffalo, Columbus, Madison, Fort Collins and San Diego.
DiFranco released her 21st studio album 'Unprecedented Sh!t' on May 17th, 2024 via her own Righteous Babe Records label. The new album follows up 2021's 'Revolutionary Love' and 2017's 'Binary' which reached #10 on Billboard's Independent chart. Back in 2022, the singer launched an extensive U.S. tour which stretched into 2023 and was joined by Rainbow Girls, Madi Diaz, Peaches Christ, Abraham Alexander, Jenny Lewis, Zoe Boekbinder, Pieta Brown, Peter Mulvey, SistaStrings and Kristen Ford. Since beginning her career in 1989, the Buffalo-based songwriter has been nominated for 9 Grammy Awards and won Best Recording Package back in 2004 for her 12th album 'Evolve'.
