John Mellencamp extends 'Live and In Person' tour

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp has announced a return to the road in 2024 to promote his new album 'Orpheus Descending'. His Live and In Person tour gets started again March 8th in Rochester and extends into April hitting other cities like Newark, Springfield, Green Bay, Omaha, Birmingham, Washington, DC and Savannah. The tour originally launched in 2023 and visited more than 70 markets across the U.S. and Canada.

Mellencamp released his 25th studio album 'Orpheus Descending' on June 16th, 2023 via Republic Records. The new album follows up 2022's 'Strictly a One-Eyed Jack' which reached #5 on Billboard's Folk chart and features multiple guest appearances by Bruce Springsteen. The prior year, he launched his Sad Clowns & Hillbillies Tour across North America which was joined by Emmylou Harris and Carlene Carter. Since beginning his career in 1951, the singer-songwriter has been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008 by longtime friend Billy Joel.
