Augustana announces U.S. tour dates

Dan Layus has announced he'll be taking his Augustana project on a major U.S. tour in 2025 promoting his latest album 'Something Beautiful'. The 16-city journey kicks off June 13th in Cincinnati and extends into August visiting additional markets like Ann Arbor, St. Louis, Annapolis, Philadelphia and New York. The band recently wrapped up their Something Beautiful Tour in 2024 which was joined by special guests Valley Boy.

Layus independently released his seventh Augustana album 'Something Beautiful' on March 22nd, 2024. The new album follows up 2022's 'Everyday an Eternity: Solo Piano Works' and 2014's 'Life Imitating Life' which reached #67 on the Billboard 200. Back in 2019, the San Diego-based musician embarked on a massive U.S. tour which was joined by Zac Clark from Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Three years prior, he joined Dixie Chicks during portions of their DCX MMXVI World Tour along with The Heavy, Anderson East, Elle King, Smooth Hound Smith and Vintage Trouble among others.
