Danzig announce 35th anniversary tour
Coming up in 2023, Glen Danzig and his band will be embarking on a sizable U.S. tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of his debut self-titled album. The 13-date trek takes place in August/September making notable stops in Las Vegas, Houston, Atlanta, Detroit and Chicago. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Behemoth, Twin Temple and Midnight. The group recently spent portions of 2022 touring with support from Cradle of Filth and Crobot.
Danzig's classic 1988 self-titled album was certified Gold by the RIAA and includes the iconic track 'Mother' which reached #17 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. Back in 2017, the veteran outfit launched a brief tour across America along with Corrosion of Conformity. Two years prior, their Blackest of the Black Tour was joined by Superjoint, Veil of Maya, Prong and Witch Mountain. Aside from Glen, current members include Johnny Kelly, Steve Zing and Tommy Victor.
