Garage rockers Eagles of Death Metal have announced a huge 2016 tour across North America supporting their latest album 'Zipper Down'. The tour kicks off May 7th in Toronto and extends into July invading major markets like Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and Las Vegas. Prior to the tour, EODM will be joining Death From Above 1979 for a spring tour across Canada visiting cities like Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Montreal.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2017 along with festival appearances at Louder Than Life, Austin City Limits and Aftershock. The band will be headlining shows in Asheville, Norfolk, Asbury Park and Tucson while joining Mastodon in Rochester and Spokane.

Eagles of Death Metal released their fourth studio album 'Zipper Down' on October 2nd, 2015 via Downtown Records. The album peaked at #59 on the Billboard 200 and reached the top fifty in eleven countries across the globe. Their previous album 'Heart On' charted at a career-best #3 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart. The band was founded in 1998 by Jesse Hughes and Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme.
