Jake Bugg announces 'A Modern Day Distraction' tour

English singer-songwriter Jake Bugg has announced a brief U.S. tour commencing later in 2024 to support his next album 'A Modern Day Distraction'. The North American portion of the tour takes place in October making stops in New York, Chicago, Nashville and Los Angeles. Joining the tour in support will be special guest Linka Moja. Later in the year, the tour heads over to Europe for additional performances.

Bugg will be releasing his sixth studio album 'A Modern Day Distraction' on September 20th, 2024 via RCA Records. The new album follows up 2021's 'Saturday Night, Sunday Morning' and 2017's 'Hearts That Strain' which features a guest appearance by Noah Cyrus on the track 'Waiting'. Back in 2014, the Nottingham-based musician joined The Black Keys during portions of their Turn Blue Tour along with Cage The Elephant and St. Vincent. The prior year, he received a nomination for Best Solo Artist at the NME Awards.
