Jidenna announces 'The Silk Road Tour'
Award-winning performer Jidenna has announced a summer 2023 tour across North America behind his most recent album '85 to Africa'. The Silk Road Tour kicks off July 18th in Sacramento and extends into August hitting major markets like San Diego, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto and Detroit. The new outing follows up 2019's 85 to Africa Tour which visited 33 cities across the U.S. and Canada.
Jidenna released his sophomore album '85 to Africa' on August 23rd via Epic Records. His previous 2017 album 'The Chief' reached #38 on the Billboard 200 and features guest appearances by labelmates Roman GianArthur, Janelle Monáe, Nana Kwabena and St. Beauty. The same year, the Wisconsin-based artist launched his Long Live the Chief Tour which was joined by special guests Anik Khan and Mannywellz. Back in 2015, he received 4 separate Soul Train Music Awards including Best New Artist.
