Lil Wayne announces 'Tha Carter VI' tour
Hip hop legend Lil Wayne has announced a monumental 2025 tour across North America promoting his next album 'Tha Carter VI'. The 36-city journey kicks off June 6th in New York and runs into October visiting notable markets like Toronto, Detroit, Phoenix, Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta and Orlando. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington. The rapper recently wrapped up a brief U.S. tour earlier this year which was joined by Quavo and Anella Herim.
Lil Wayne will be releasing his 14th studio album 'Tha Carter VI' on June 6th, 2025 via Young Money and Republic Records. The new album follows up 2020's 'Funeral' which reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and features guest appearances by Big Sean, Lil Baby, Jay Rock, 2 Chainz, The-Dream, Lil Twist and O.T. Genasis among others. The prior year, the Grammy-winning artist teamed up with Blink-182 for a massive co-headlining tour along with support from Neck Deep. Back in 2023, his own Welcome to Tha Carter Tour visited 31 cities across America.
