MKTO has announced they will be embarking on 'The American Dream Tour' this summer, which follows the recent release of their self-titled debut album. Beginning on June 27th in Detroit, MKTO will be visiting many cities across North American including Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Kansas City, San Diego, Houston, New York, Atlanta, and many more through the months of July and August.
Following the tour, MKTO will be joining Demi Lovato and Christina Perri for a much-anticipated world tour. The North American leg of the tour will visit many notable U.S. cities including Miami, New Orleans, San Diego, Chicago, and Brooklyn. Canadian cities will include Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Montreal, and Hamilton.
MKTO released their debut album, 'MKTO', on January 31st. They have had a few hit singles like 'Thank You' released in 2012, 'Classic' and 'God Only Knows' in 2013, and their newest single is 'American Dream'. Their name comes from the initials of the two singers, Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, who often blend together pop and rap. The pair recently opened up for Emblem3 on their 'Bandlife' tour.
