Motion City Soundtrack announce 'I Am the Movie' tour

Punk comrades Motion City Soundtrack have announced an epic North American tour beginning later in 2023 celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'I Am the Movie'. The 13-date trek kicks off December 30th in Milwaukee and runs into January visiting Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Nashville, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Asbury Park, Boston, Buffalo and Toronto. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Gully Boys.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended further into 2024 making additional stops in Columbus, Tampa, New Orleans, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Seattle, Denver and Toronto.

Motion City Soundtrack's debut 2003 album 'I Am the Movie' reached #42 on Billboard's Independent chart and includes the singles 'The Future Freaks Me Out' and 'My Favorite Accident'. Back in 2022, the band toured extensively across America celebrating the 17th anniversary of their breakthrough album 'Commit This to Memory'. Two years prior, their Don’t Call It A Comeback reunion tour was their first since disbanding in 2016. Current members include Justin Courtney Pierre, Joshua Cain, Jesse Johnson, Matthew Taylor and Tony Thaxton.
