Smashing Pumpkins extend 'The World is a Vampire Tour'

Veteran rockers Smashing Pumpkins will continue touring across North America into 2024 promoting their latest album 'Atum: A Rock Opera in Three Acts'. The World is a Vampire Tour gets started again July 31st in Bala and stretches through September making additional stops in Kansas City, Springfield, Maryland Heights, Airway Heights and Las Vegas. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests PVRIS and The Glorious Sons. The tour originally launched in 2023 and was joined by Interpol, Stone Temple Pilots and Rival Sons.

Smashing Pumpkins released their 12th studio album 'Atum: A Rock Opera in Three Acts' on April 21st, 2023 via Martha's Music. The new album follows up 2020's 'Cyr' which reached #10 on Billboard's Rock chart. The prior year, they teamed up with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds for a major co-headlining tour with support from AFI. Back in 2022, the chart-topping band launched their Spirits On Fire Tour along with Jane’s Addiction, Poppy and Meg Myers after wrapping up their Rock Invasion 2 Tour which was joined by BONES as a sequel to their iconic 1993 world tour.
