Deftones announce North American tour
Award-winning collective Deftones will be hitting the road in early 2025 joined by special guests The Mars Volta and Fleshwater. The 24-city journey kicks off February 25th in Portland and runs into April visiting major markets like Seattle, San Francisco, Inglewood, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Chicago, Detroit, New York and Washington, DC. Prior to the tour, the band will be hosting another version of their Dia De Los Deftones along with Idles, Sunny Day Real Estate, Health, Paris Texas, Duster and Gel.
UPDATE: The tour now extends into the summer with Phantogram and Barbarians of California making additional U.S. stops in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Cleveland, Baltimore, St. Louis, Denver and Kansas City. Canadian shows are planned for Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Quebec City and Montreal.
Deftones will continue supporting their ninth studio album 'Ohms' released on September 25th, 2020 via Reprise Records. The new album reached #5 on the Billboard 200 and includes the single 'Genesis' which received a nomination for Best Metal Performance at the Grammy Awards. Two years later, the band toured extensively across America along with support from Gojira and Vowws. Back in 2017, they teamed up with Rise Against for a major co-headlining tour which was joined by Thrice, Frank Iero and the Patience and Three Trapped Tigers.
