Rhiannon Giddens announces North American tour

Grammy-winning musician Rhiannon Giddens has announced she'll be touring extensively across North America beginning later in 2023. The new outing kicks off September 13th in Iowa City and stretches into 2024 making notable stops in Nashville, Ann Arbor, Glenside, Greensboro, Berkeley, New York and Los Angeles. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Adia Victoria, The Legendary Ingramettes and Charly Lowry.

Giddens will continue supporting her latest collaboration album 'They're Calling Me Home' (with Francesco Turrisi) released on April 9th, 2021 via Nonesuch Records Inc. The new album follows up the pair's 2019 album 'There Is No Other' which reached #24 on Billboard's Tastemaker chart. As the founding member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, the singer-songwriter has received 4 Grammy nominations and won Best Traditional Folk Album for the band's 2011 album 'Genuine Negro Jig'.
