The Shins announce 'Oh, Inverted World' anniversary tour

Coming up in 2022, The Shins will be celebrating the 21st anniversary of their debut album 'Oh, Inverted World' during an extensive summer tour across North America. The 32-city campaign kicks off July 12th in San Francisco and extends into September making U.S. stops in Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Seattle. Canadian dates are set for Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Joseph.

The Shins' 2001 debut album 'Oh, Inverted World' was certified Gold by the RIAA and includes the singles 'New Slang' and 'Know Your Onion!' Their latest album 'Heartworms' was released on March 10th, 2017 and reached #20 on the Billboard 200. The same year, the band launched a sizable North American tour with support from Spoon. The six-piece outfit formed in 1996 and currently consists of members James Mercer, Yuuki Matthews, Mark Watrous, Casey Foubert, Jon Sortland and Patti King.
