Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly hologram tour announced

Rock and roll pioneers Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly will be appearing on stages across North America together this fall during an extensive 46-city hologram tour. The Rock ’N’ Roll Dream Tour kicks off September 19th in San Francisco and continues into November visiting U.S. markets like Santa Barbara, Denver, St. Louis, Grand Rapids, Atlanta, Boston and Toronto. The new outing follows up 2018's In Dreams: Roy Orbison in Concert – The Hologram Tour which visited Europe (with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) and North America.

Holly and Orbison were both inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and 1987 respectively. After starting his career in the mid 50's, Orbison collected six Grammy Awards including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998. His discography includes 23 studio albums and 24 compilation albums with artists like Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty, Glenn Danzig and k.d. lang. Orbison died of a heart attack 1988 and Holly in a plane crash back in 1959.
