Eric Clapton announces U.S. tour dates

Songwriting legend Eric Clapton has announced a short U.S. tour later in 2026 alongside his backing band featuring Doyle Bramhall II, Sonny Emory, Nathan East, Sharon White, Tim Carmon, Chris Stainton and Katie Kissoon. The 6-city jaunt takes place in September making limited stops in Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Kansas City. Joining the tour in support will be special guest Jimmie Vaughan.

Clapton will continue supporting his 22nd studio album 'Meanwhile' released on October 4th, 2024 via Bushbranch and Surfdog Records. The new album reached #1 on Billboard's Blues chart and features guest appearances by Jeff Beck, Bradley Walker, Van Morrison and Judith Hill. In the past, the singer-songwriter has hinted towards retiring from touring due to significant hearing loss and tinnitus which makes it progressively difficult to perform live. Since beginning his career in 1962, Clapton has received a total of 18 Grammy Awards and is often referred to as one of the most influential guitarists of all time.
