Jermaine Dupri announces So So Def anniversary tour
Later this fall, So So Def Records founder Jermaine Dupri will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of his iconic label with a 10-city tour across America. The CULTURAL CURREN$Y TOUR kicks off October 14th in Washington, DC and runs into November visiting Brooklyn, Atlanta, Nashville, Detroit and Los Angeles. Brooklyn, Baltimore, Greensboro, Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, Charlotte, Detroit and Los Angeles. Hosted by Dupri himself, other artists on the bill include Xscape, Jagged Edge, Anthony Hamilton, Youngbloodz, Da Brat, Bow Wow, Bonecrusher, J Kwon and Dem Franchize Boyz.
Last summer, Dupri launched the SoSoSUMMER 17 Tour across America featuring Season 1 and 2 winners Miss Mulatto and Mani along with the cast members of his Lifetime hit series 'The Rap Game'. The reality television series was created by Dupri and Queen Latifah in 2015 and followed five young artists in the Atlanta hip-hop scene and their quests to become rap stars. The show featured guest appearances by Usher, Ludacris, Da Brat, T.I. and Silentó who all provided their own advice on what it takes to succeed in the industry.
