The Avett Brothers announce U.S. tour dates

Grammy-nominated outfit The Avett Brothers will be heading back on tour in 2024 surrounding their appearances at Luke Combs' Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour. The new 22-city excursion kicks off May 16th in Philadelphia and continues into August visiting additional markets like Forest Hills, Sacramento, Morrison, Maryland Heights, Columbus, Detroit and Cleveland. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests City and Colour, Sierra Ferrell, Iron & Wine, Little Feat, Melissa Etheridge, Dawes, Trampled by Turtles and Sammy Rae & The Friends.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended through the rest of the year and into 2025 visiting cities like Indianapolis, Little Rock, Tulsa, Phoenix, Grand Prairie, Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles.

The Avett Brothers will continue supporting their 10th studio album 'Closer Than Together' released on October 4th, 2019 via American Recordings and Republic Records. The new album follows up 2016's 'True Sadness' which reached a career-best #3 on the Billboard 200 and received a nomination for Best Americana Album at the Grammy Awards. Also in 2019, the NC-based band toured extensively across America along with support from Trombone Shorty, Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real and Lake Street Dive.
