Capital Cities announce U.S. tour dates

Indie pop favorites Capital Cities have announced a return to the road in early 2023 with a fresh batch of U.S. tour dates. The 4-city jaunt kicks off March 10th in San Francisco and extends into May making additional stops in Las Vegas, Highland and Ventura. Back in 2022, the pair made an appearance at Beach Life Festival along with Smashing Pumpkins, Vance Joy, Stone Temple Pilots and Michael Franti & Spearhead among many others.

Capital Cities will continue supporting their sophomore album 'Solarize' released on August 10th, 2018 via Capitol Records. The new album follows up 2013's 'In a Tidal Wave of Mystery' which reached #66 on the Billboard 200 and includes a guest appearance by Rick Ross on the track 'Girl Friday'. The single 'Safe and Sound' was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA and won Best Visual Effects at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. The LA-based duo formed in 2008 and consists of members Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian.
