Vampire Weekend announce 'Only God Was Above Us' tour

Indie giants Vampire Weekend have announced a massive 2024 tour across North America supporting their next album 'Only God Was Above Us'. The 39-city campaign kicks off June 6th in Houston and continues into October visiting other major U.S. markets like Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta and their hometown of New York. Canadian shows are planned for Burnaby, Toronto and Laval. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests LA LOM, The English Beat, Voodoo Glow Skull, Mike Gordon, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ra Ra Riot, Princess, Cults, Mark Ronson, The Brothers Macklovitch and Turnstiles.

Vampire Weekend will be releasing their fifth studio album 'Only God Was Above Us' on April 5th, 2024 via Columbia Records. The new album follows up 2019's 'Father Of The Bride' which reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and won Best Alternative Music Album at the Grammy Awards. The same year, the band launched their Father Of The Bride Tour which was their first since 2014 and their first without founding member Rostam Batmanglij. Since forming in 2006, the group has covered popular tracks by artists like Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen and Robin Thicke.
