Snarky Puppy announce 'Empire Central' tour

Grammy-winning ensemble Snarky Puppy will be touring extensively across America in early 2023 behind their next album 'Empire Central'. The 20-city excursion kicks off March 29th in Saint Paul and stretches through April visiting major markets like Chicago, Cleveland, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Nashville and Atlanta. Prior to the tour, bandleader Michael League and co. will be heading over to Europe for a long list of additional performances.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into the fall making additional stops in Ann Arbor, Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Flagstaff, Denver, Dallas, Oklahoma City and New Orleans.

Snarky Puppy will be releasing their 16th album 'Empire Central' on September 30th, 2022 via their own GroundUPmusic label. The new album follows up 2022's 'Live at GroundUP Music Festival' and 2020's 'Live at the Royal Albert Hall' which won Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. Since forming in 2004, the instrumental band has performed with dozens of artists including Erykah Badu, Marcus Miller, Justin Timberlake, Stanley Clarke, Kirk Franklin, Ari Hoenig, David Crosby, Michael McDonald and Snoop Dogg.

The track 'Open Forum' quickly became a success and made Snarky Puppy one of the fastest growing talents at that time.
