My Chemical Romance reschedule reunion tour
After initially announcing their first tour since 2011, My Chemical Romance have rescheduled their much-anticipated reunion tour to 2022. The 32-date outing now kicks off August 20th in Oklahoma City and continues into October visiting tons of major markets including Philadelphia, Toronto, Brooklyn, Detroit, Newark, Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Select dates will be joined by Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Turnstile, Kimya Dawson, The Lemon Twigs, Waterparks, Nothing, The Bouncing Souls, Soul Glo, Shannon And The Clams, Dilly Dally, Surfbort, The Homeless Gospel Choir, Youth Code, Meg Myers and Badflower among others.
Back in 2013, My Chemical Romance officially announced their breakup after more than a decade of success. Their last studio album 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys' was released back in 2010 and reached #8 on the Billboard 200. More recently, guitarist Frank Iero launched a sizable U.S. tour in 2019 with his latest project The Future Violents. Lead vocalist Gerard Way spent portions of 2016 and 2017 touring solo across America. Additional members include Ray Toro and Mikey Way.
